The Hotel Convento D`Alter is located just two hours away from Lisbon in the villa of Alter do Chão, in the Alentejo region of Portugal. A completely restored Franciscan Convent of the late XVI century which was used as private residence yet during the last one.
Preserving its original splendour and characteristics the old convent suffered a profound transformation turning it into a fine hotel with new areas and facilities.
